We Solve Problems
At Blanchard, Miller, Lewis & Isley, P.A., our emphasis is on getting the results our clients need and giving them the service they deserve. We are not a big firm, and we don’t want to be. We take pride in providing personalized service to every single one of our clients and handling their legal matters in the most effective way possible.
Our Raleigh law firm is founded on the conviction that our clients deserve excellent representation both inside the courtroom and out. No matter what your legal problem is, we won’t rest until we find a solution.
First and foremost, we are courtroom lawyers with extensive trial experience. We will not take any case that we aren’t willing to argue in front of a jury, and we prove that by starting to prepare for trial as soon as our initial consultation with you is complete. We believe that even if the best outcome for your situation is a settlement, building a strong case to present to a jury produces the best arguments for the best outcome.
Although we are seasoned litigators, we also have the acumen to know when a legal matter should be handled with discretion. Our trustworthy team is sensitive to the needs of our clients, and we will tailor our approach to get the most favorable outcome for you. We understand that sometimes the best results are the ones that only you can see.
After spending more than four decades as one of North Carolina’s most respected trial lawyers, Charles Blanchard joined with Philip Miller to form Blanchard, Jenkins & Miller, P.A., in 1995. From the beginning, Mr. Blanchard and Mr. Miller devoted a majority of the firm’s practice to the representation of individuals in personal injury, medical negligence, product liability and wrongful death cases.
In 1999, Hardy Lewis left a partnership in a prestigious Raleigh law firm to create Blanchard, Jenkins, Miller & Lewis. In addition to continuing the firm’s personal injury practice, Mr. Lewis brought with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in the areas of business litigation, appellate law, criminal defense, alcoholic beverage control law and administrative law.
Then in 2010, Philip Isley joined the firm as a partner after serving four terms on the Raleigh City Council (from 2001 to 2009). Since 1992, Mr. Isley has practiced exclusively in the area of civil litigation with an emphasis on commercial and class-action litigation, government relations and administrative law.
In addition to their specific concentrations, all of the firm’s attorneys are experienced trial lawyers who are well-regarded as skillful litigators in state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as before regulatory agencies.
